CALENDAR of EVENTS

April: Getting Off The Grid Weekend is a basic overview of what’s required to set up a comfortable camp on a piece of land without utility connections. This is mostly done thru discussion and observation of systems in place around Sanctuary Two, but will also include some practical work in site preparation. We will cover different types of shelter systems, water supply, sanitation, electrical power, ventilation and heating.
Class goes from 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM Sunday, and is limited to 7 people. Lunch is provided. Attendees may camp on site, or choose a motel or private home from the Accommodations list. Cost is $150.00. Send an Email to reserve your space.

May: Tent Living Weekend covers how to set up a campsite, pitch a tent, and live fairly comfortably, even in the winter. This is a hands-on course, including site preparation, drainage, water supply, sanitation, food storage, cooking, heating, and other improvements.
You are encouraged to arrive Friday afternoon or early evening. Class goes from 9 AM Saturday to 4 PM Sunday, and is limited to 12 people. Meals are provided from Saturday breakfast thru Sunday lunch. Cost is $120. Send an Email to reserve your space.

Help figure out how to survive until repairs can be made and we can once again return to the black.”
